That's very pretty, Linda B,
Any pictures of the quilting? |
Here is the virtual section's link. There are alot of OBWs but there are lots of other kinds of kaleidoscopes there too. A kaleidoscope is the process of cutting fabric in repeats to get a unique pattern. it can be done in several ways. The one block wonder is only one way.
So maybe you will find something helpful in these threads! http://www.quiltingboard.com/virtual...jsp?vsnum=1006 |

I don't have any pictures but I have quilted a couple of the stack and wack kaleidoscipe quilt tops using quilting patterns from www.goldenthreads.com. You can see this pattern set if you look on goldenthreads website, follow the link on the left hand side "longarm quilters" (however, you would not have to have a longarm machine to use these patterns) On page 2 under "longarm quilters" you will find the pattern.
Have fun!! |
I guess I should post a pic of my work in progress. I'm not doing it stack n' whack style, or OBW style....much more traditional. I don't have the borders on yet, but I could post a pic of the central blocks.
