I have taken a photo of my computer screen, insuring my flash is off, and saved it from my camera to my pictures section on the computer and then enlarged it on the printer. works every time for me. Since I am not a whiz on the computer, it was the simplest way for me to do it...

WElcome from WI. It is hard to find time to quilt while raising a young family. For myself, started quilting when my youngest graduated from high school, then you have alot more time. Have fun with all your creations and enjoy.

You can print screen by clicking the button "PrntScr" in the upper right side of your keyboard. Then open a Word document or email or notepad program, whatever you want to use to print it out. Right click, and select "paste".
I don't know if these same instructions will work for any Apple product, and I don't know how to print screen from a Kindle, either. Sorry. |
You can do a screen print from a Mac device, but each device is slightly different. If you have a Mac, go to the Apple store to find out how.

It's an obsession I've had for nearly 40 years.

Yes, it's bad...especially when you step off the plane in Italy for a vacation and are instantly overrun with design ideas...makes the rest of the trip sorta redundant...So no, you're certainly not alone. I think 99% of us see designs where everyone else just sees a floor, carpeting, whatever...don't 'cha love it??
|
Yes, we are addicted, aren't we? But everyone should have a hobby!
|
If you are in the bathroom and want to copy the floor tiles you know you have problems.

I live in the country and when I go by all the fields to get to town, I look at the colors and think "I need to find that color for a quilt". I do it with flowers, sunrises and sunsets, trees, bushes, birds, etc.
|
You are not alone:) All in all it's a healthy addiction....at the very least our efforts keep those we love warm.
