QUILTO will be played on Sunday, April 1st, at 3PM, EDT. Continue to send your email addies to me in PM. We want a good turn out, and a chance for many of us to have fun.
Be sure to check out the Picture page for the challenge blocks, today. You have all day to post a block to be entered in the drawing for prizes. |
Boo,
Maybe it's just me, but could you tell me the rules of Quilto? I looked and looked and couldn't figure out what you guys are doing. PJ |

Boo states in her 'National Quilting Day' post, "QUILTO is a bingo type game played using words instead of numbers."
If we can make that Blazing Arrow block I'm sure we'll be able to figure out QUILTO. Right? Well... maybe! We get to learn such neat things on this site! :D |
YES, Quilto IS like Bingo! Same setup, except that where the numbers are in the columns of Bingo, there are quilting terms in the columns of Quilto. Like....seam ripper, needles, blocks, rulers, scissors and if I remember correctly, there are also names of blocks too. Not too hard at all & lots of fun when we've played it at my guild meetings.
Looking forward to playing on the 1st!!! sue |
Thanks for the help! It must be like the baby shower game where you fill in the blanks with baby items you think the mother-to-be will receive, then...."bingo" with that as she gets them, sorta!!!!
See, we're getting smarter every little bit! :S I'll be here QUILTO-ing IF I can! |
Yikes, sorry, been away from computer too long. Didn't realize there was a problem. Yes QUILTO is just like Bingo but with quilty words. Each person will make their own card of 5x5 boxes with free space in the center. We grab out button collection to use as markers. Once I made the mistake of using almond M&Ms and found myself eating the markers. While that may not sound too bad, there is a tendancy to overdose before the game is over.
I am planning a mass mailing with the list of words for next week, so make sure I have your email addy. Either print out the list, or save on computer for future games. It should be a fun time in chat that day! |
