Is anyone interested in doing a round robin swap?

I am not sure what a round robin swap is. Sorry. I love doing swaps though.

Sounds like fun, how do we do it?

I don't know what it is, but it sounds like it could be fun. Count me in.

Okay, sorry.....

A round robin works this way:

You make a quilt center. Any size you want is okay but, keep in mind your finished quilt size. For example: I have a center that is about 20 x 20. It is an embroidered design of mice quilting around a frame.

Once we establish a list of people, let's say there is 8......I would mail my center to the 1st person on my list. They would put a pieced border of some kind around my center (any size, style you want - just not plain) and then mail it to the next person on the list. It continues in that form until the 8th and final person receives it, puts the last border on and then mails it back to me.

Each month you would have a border to put on someone's quilt for 8 months as everyone's center would be making it's way around. Your list order would be different than everyone else's.

I hope this makes sense. It is alot of fun as you get to see others creativity and imagination come to live on your quilt. And, at the beginning what was a center is now a full blown quilt made by you and all your quilting friends.

If you are interested, let me know.....PM me your personal email and name so I can get the list made. No matter how many....we can do 2 or more groups to keep the list at 6 to 8 members in each. Any bigger in each group and the quilt gets too large and it takes too long to get it back.

I will try and find some pics of some quilts to post and ideas for borders to add for examples. But, the idea is to use your imagination and work off of the last border put on.

Here is an example of one.

Another one. Some of these are pretty intricate. No one has to commit to the "A" word but, if you want to.......GO FOR IT!
