I use my 6x24 for cutting my strips, but use my 4x14 for almost everything else, just really like the small size of it.

Boy do I feel stupid. When I read that people like their Shape Cuts, I had no clue what it was. Looked it up and watched a demo on how to use it. I have one that I bought when I first started quilting and had no clue how to use it, so I decided it was pretty much worthless. Now that I've seen the demo, I'll have to give it a try. Learn so many things on this board. Thank you!!

Is anyone else like me?

I tend to use my 6x12 in. the most. If cutting strips wof I use the 6x24. I have a 15 in. square for squaring up if it's more than 6 in square.

I like my 6x24 and I have a 16x16 rotatory that I really like. If I had more rulers, I love gadgets.

That's like asking when you paint a still life what brush do you use. I use whatever ruler I need to get the job done. A 6x24", a regular 12 inch school, a 4x12, when I use large widths of material a measuring tape and yard ruler. When I first started quiting I used the yard stick, school ruler and measuring tape.
