Thanks for that link! Many years ago Alex Anderson had a person on Simply Quilts that did this pattern. It was an easy way, but this one is easier! Thanks!

while we were discussing tumbling block quilts on this thread i did an image search on blue tumble blocks quilts. there are several out there to look at to get ideas on an all blue one though another color would give more depth it seems.
but while looking i saw this tumble block quilt. it's amazing and i wonder if it's possible to duplicate and make it without a y-seam issue. i cannot image how to get this together but it's a great looking one imho. btw i do love the tumble block quilt pattern especially when they have a few blocks that have broken away and look like they are tumbling. http://www.amishcountrylanes.com/Pages/hs4332.shtml good luck with your quilt. |
