Could you post a picture?

A thick piece of felt also works. Something I did for my sewing table that was flexing as my machine was sewing was to make a "fifth" leg out of about 4" PVC pipe. I cut it to the height if the underside of my table, put a scrap of batting between the table and the pipe and no more vibration.

I'm using two computer mouse pads. A sales rep gave us a bunch at work and I pealed off the advertisement from the top.
They work great.

I use the rubbery mats that go under placemats. they are oval & just the right size. or you can cut up an old yoga mat. it's the rubber that quiets the noise. (I know it's not rubber, but can't think of a better
word right now)

I needed one for my older machine, so I just bought a couple mouse pads that the dollar store had. Worked great.

I bought one from my Janome dealer just like that and it only cost me $7.00. So I would say $20. is big ripoff.

I have one; it came with my machine.
I use it as it stops the machine from moving. I haven't noticed that it stops vibrations.
I wouldn't buy one.

It is a good idea. It just doesn't look like it would work under an extension table. I would love to silence my Janome. It is the loudest machine I have ever owned, right from the first day.

I bought a pkg of carpet individual step runners and had an extra one so I have that under my machine...works great.
