Exactly, if our rooms were tidy all the time that would mean that were not being creative and sewing! I love when my kids come to visit, but, at the same time dislike it, I always have to start tucking things away, my daughter an grand daughter were here for 3 weeks in july, I still can't find some things!

What a great idea, to store fabric in old pattern drawers. I am going to look for them.

I hear ya! I had a small 2 bedroom upper before here, I had sewing in the living room along with the cutting table and fabric, I also had a cutting table in the kitchen, an fabric in the daughters room, an before that I had a 5 bedroom house so I downsized once but never again will I do that, it took awhile to accumulate it all back!

Don't have time to read all 11 pages ! Whew!
But I did make time to watch ARTFULSAGE's utube video and all I can say is WOW WOW WOW - wonderful. I hope you get lots of things completed now.

I just spent the day attacking my sewing area and putting up new shelving units, rearranging, and *trying* to get rid of things I don't know why I have in the first place.

I'm not done yet...but it's a great start.

and to answer the question....NO I won't show a picture...at least not yet.

Donna, you have done a great job for the space that you have. good going. Things can never stay neat if we are using the space right.
