http://www.quiltingboard.com/virtual...jsp?vsnum=1028 I bought two of them and have only used it once, but I like it so far. I bought mine at Hancock's because I had an order going with them, but saw them in a set at Fabric.com. I would like to have the set and carry case some day, but the single pencils I got are enough for now. http://www.fabric.com/ProductDetail....d-30a9778a4572 Fabric.com has just a few items when you search for Sewline, Hancock's has a great selection and a great price for individual pencils. Fabric.com has free shipping over $40, you have to pay for shipping at Hancock's. |
I also use Bohin France. Got them when I took a class on "Less Than Traditional". They are wonderful.

I love mine and have used it constantly since I received it over two years ago. Mine was the original and you had to buy all the different color refills. I find I use the white one and the pink one the most.

I use the white and the green the most. I find I can make one or the other work on everything I mark onto.

I love mine... use the pink mostly!

Love it! Greatest thing since sliced bread!

I have one - a Fons and Porter brand one that I got at Hancocks - Joann's also sells it - and I love love love it. I want to get another color for light fabrics. I have the white one right now.
A friend of mine bought the sewline one and I used hers and fell in love with it. |
I used the Bohin one to mark for hand quilting and it worked great. Stayed longer than chalk but was pretty well gone by the time I was finished quilting each section. I washed the quilt when I finished and there are no marks to be seen.
