I have a curtain rod (white)on the wall and bought a bag of white clips to hang my quilts or wall hangings. That way if I want to change them out it's easy, remove the 3-4 clips, and done. Works like a charm.

I would go for the sleeve also. You might even put 2. One on either side to hang both ways up & down. Love the colors.

Use a hanging sleeve, they are easy to make and easy to attach.. holds the quilt nice and evenly, and is easy to remove without any pulling....

I have made several tubes the length of the quilt rack. These can be pinned to the piece you want to hang but then removed when you want the piece to again be a bed quilt.
