I'm a barefoot sewer too
I too kick off my right shoe. I can't sew otherwise.
I also sew barefooted. Forgot to wear slide on shoes to a class, you would have found me shopping for a piece of fabric with one shoe on and one off, (store was closed, not that would have made a difference to me). Another time a teacher dropped something on the floor, she looked at me "Caught you". LOL
I grew up down south and never wore shoes; love to go barefoot. Up north I have learned to wear slippers to keep my feet warm, only during the winter:) Had to suggest a student use a pin cushion as I would find pins on the floor every week after she left. No, did not step on one, but probably only a matter of time. |
Barefoot always even at guilds, classes or retreats. Cannot sew with shoes on!
I do both, but the majority is shoeless.
Shoeless here!
Shoes !!! We don't need no stinking shoes......I don't even wear shoes when I play the piano at church ..!!! So far no complaints.
No shoe on the right foot. OK for the left when sewing.
Bare or sock feet, depending on the season!
after getting through more that a couple pages, I did find that there is one or two other than myself, who prefer to wear shoes.......I guess it's just what one gets used to doing.....but I am a shoes-on quilter.........
