hi again,
I seem to pick up mails every few weeks! time is never on my side. I hear you - all those dies you can use on one machine it is a no brainer.
I am told there are new dies coming out from Sizzix later this month. they have the new dies on sale with pre orders at
www.stitchintheditch.com also have a sale on this week on the little big shot and then on the big shot pro. although they also have a huge sale coming on for the accuquilt machine --- they send out regular newsletters - so we know what is about to happen!
sale on accuquilt dies as well, so worth checking out for your dies

I actually shop online with Stitch in the Ditch all the time! The service is phenomenal. She has a great selection, prices are great and she can answer any questions for you in regard to these machines. Very helpful with the products. :P

not sure how you missed all of MY talks on these machines, but if you PM me I can give the scoop from first hand experience!

I see most of MY comments were made on a classified thread called ISO: Accuquilt GO....or for sale, accuquilt go baby( as I have one for sale)

and for more info you can always check them out at
http://www.checkerdist.com

I have been using Ellison/Sizzix cutters and dies for quilting for over 10 years now! They have been in the biz for nearly 30+ years!
Remember the school and church bulletin boards and all those letters and shapes, cut on Ellison machines...they are still the world's #1 company in schools and churches...

you will never find a big shot pro for $100 that is less 1/2 of my wholesale cost! The big shot pro is the accuquilt equivalent to the studio for less than 1/2 the cost with 10 times the versatility due to the fact you can use ALL makers dies on them!

I cuts with the greatest of ease using only 1 hand, no need to use your other hand to hold it steady like the GO cutter!

I could go on and on, but let me know how much of the real facts you want!

PS, I use mine to cut everything from paper, to metal, to ultrasuede...

Before I posted on Sizzix Westminster Big Shot Pro Quilter's Edition...I did search on this site and there was nothing there...I read over your posts and you didn't even try the Sizzix for Quilter's until Jan 13...I bought mine a couple of days after Christmas...so I am not sure what "real facts" you could have shared with me with respect to this parcticular machine....the fact is, it sounds like you bought a Go because you didn't even know Sizzix was coming out with a Quilter's edition...

I wrote the post to share information I had learned as I researched the machines and to try to help out others who were just as confused as I was, especially about the Sizzix as it is new in the quilting market....

I found some of your comments and the tone of your post somewhat rude...everyone on this board can't possibly read EVERYTHING that EVERY single person post, and really, who cares who posts what when...we are here to share and to learn from one another in a kind and helpful manner....

Don't worry, I am really bad at knowing what is going on - tune in now and then and feel like adding if I have time and know anything about what the discussion is on. we are all here to learn from one another. I share what I know when I can.
Learn a great deal from you all.
Now for some news -- the Canadian online store is bringing all the Quilters Dies for the Big Shot Pro down this week as they are heading to a show and want to share with their customers.
I just heard from my friend, she says it will be on the website and will be available to customers for one week. So I intend to check it out. Some of the new dies that have just come out are just what i would use.
Check it out -- my BFF says they are listing items for the Show under Show items --- probably on the lists on the left side. This is the only store carrying the Sizzix Big Shot Pro Quilters Dies in Canada.

love a bargain

It's on the website now! The show prices are up since they leave for the show at the end of the month. They are giving huge discounts on Sizzix Quilters dies and are sharing these now for a week with their customers before they head to the show.

hi dreamscape - you obviously know the stitch in the ditch store, do you buy your sizzix machine and dies there, I have been told to buy there as the service is fantastic, the big shot pro is an amazing machine can't wait for the 50 new quilters dies that are coming later in the year - should be pretty amazing. Wanted to ask if you knew about the embroidery cd GO Be Dazzled - by sarah vedeler, everyone seems to be going crazy for this and also her sparkle CD. Has stitch in the ditch got these?

I have a Big Shot I use to make cards. I'm going to try it with fabric.

Thank you so much. I was looking at Scanncut and Accuquilt when I found Sizzix. Now I can't decide between the Big Shot and Big Shot Pro.

I'm leaning town the pro because I like the idea of cutting 10" Layer Cakes, Hubby said I could get it for mother's day and I've been researching for days.

I am also researching to get a cutter. Daughter has the Sizzix Big Shot and absolutely loves it! She says that it will also accomodate the Go cutter dies. I am thinking about getting the Big Shot Pro.
