Very smart, get up and do what is bothering you, you will be able to sleep afterward.
I use my iPod or hubby's iPad. I put on a movie or tv show, turn it face down so the room is dark, and listen until I fall asleep. There's enough to listen to that my brain is able to tune out all the things that make me anxious and sleepless, and I can relax enough to sleep. The occasional Benedryl doesn't hurt either. |
Hi streator il. I understand. I do my best work at 2 in the a.m. It is makes me happy to climb back into bed after a bit of sewing in the wee hours. I guess instead of counting sheep we count fat quarters or blocks. It is all good.

I count from 100 by threes works great, specially when I have to go to bed at 8pm so I can get up at 3am to go to work
