Enjoy the rest of your summer ! I'm looking forward to getting a lot done no matter what the weather is. |
I don't get a whole lot of sewing done during the summer only because the kids are home. It's easier when the 2 older ones are gone because little man will play with his toys while I sew. The other 2 drive both of crazy.

I usually sew more in the summer , I love to be outside on my front porch, but this week... NO WAY  Staying inside where it is cool
|
My other hobby is crocheting..that's too hot. I'd rather sew.

I think sewing 'in spurts' or when the weather is not behaving itself (hot or cold) is perfectly normal.
When it's winter, the wood burner is going and it doesn't kick on the furnace which warms my basement sewing area. I don't want to sew then! |
Very warm here also hoovering around 100 the last few days
but I like to do hand work when it's too hot to sit at the machine and sew Well it's not the sewing but the ironing I hate! |
With the a/c running and an extra fan blowing on me I continue to sew thru the summer. I usually piece in the summer though and quilt in the fall and winter.
