Please don't try using this to get out of the tub. It is not very expensive to have someone install the bars you need for stability. These super grips are not meant to be used for safety. Or, were you kidding? If that's the case, I've been had. :-)

I have a small one (single) that I use, and I love it. Very helpful!

They do use those grips to get in an d out of the tub. The grab bars are betterof course but sometimes they aren't available or no one ot install them.
|
I plan on buying one.

I have the large one and small one and use them all the time. Did take some time getting used to it - but now love them.

So they do use these or something similar for getting in and out of the tub. The first time I saw one that is what I thought it was for and I couldn't figure out why it was with a bunch of sewing/quilting items. :-o

I have one of these but I haven't really tried it out yet. I love your idea of using it on the tub!!!! I have been going to buy something for my husband to help him in and out of the tub since his stroke 4 years ago. Thank you for the idea..... Update...Have been reading the comments about the tub...guess I will just go buy a bar!

The owner of my LQS uses one to cut all fabric and she does a super job of it.

After my back surgery, I had my husband place one of these in the tub area. Yes, it sometimes does come off, but I always give it a bit of a check before using it. We've had it on the wall for 2 years now - I won't take a shower without it. Makes me feel more secure.
