Supreme Slider
I was hearing a lot today about the Supreme Slider. How many of you have it and is it worth the money. Found some on ebay for around $30 free shipping. I would be worried it might slip and the needle go through it and ruin my fmq job. I do wish it would slide easier. Would love to hear from you that use it. I look at them before but thought what a pain to remove it to put a new bobbin in but maybe it is worth the extra work. I have a top loading bobbin. Will be anxious to see the feedback and thank you ahead of time.

I bought one and only used it once. It didn't stick that well, even with taping the corners down. I have a top loading bobbin, too, and it's bothersome to take it off to load in a new bobbin. This is just my opinion; others may have more positive input.

have one don't like it I agree with livelylady.

I have one and like it. I've had no problems with getting it to stick and no slipping. When it seemed to be losing it's stickiness I rinsed it in warm water and let it air dry. My bobbin is also a top loader. I have to remove the quilt to change bobbins, then I just lift up the Slider and switch them out. It's not that much trouble to me.
So right now the score is 2 to 1 against. Anyone else care to venture an opinion? |
I had one didn't like it either

I like mine. Really makes a difference. I just tape mine down with painters tape to make sure it doesn't slip. I also have a top load bobbin.

I have one. I thought it helped until one time I forgot to use it and didn't notice a difference.

I've used one for about a year and love it. No problems with mine. My machine bobbin is on the side of the machine not
the top. |
I LOVE mine for FMQ....I do not have a top loading bobbin but have to remove it to see below when changing bobbins. Not a big deal to me.

I have one and I like it. I always wipe off the top of the machine area before installing and do have to run it under water after a couple of uses.
