I have an Acer A200 android. I downloaded the Robert Kaufman calculator, which I love, but every thing else is either for iPhone or iPad or requires a smart phone (which I don't have) to get it to the pad. I hope the android market with come out with some other programs.

My favorite app from ITunes is Robert Kaufman's Quilt Calc - I work in a LQS and use it frequently for figuring amount of fabric needed for batting, backing and binding it is the greatest!! It does so many differnent things!

Are there any Quilting or sewing apps for my new toy? I never thought I would have an ipad, so I am truly clueless about these things... |
First operation, find a 12 to 18 years-old to show you how, LOL, it always works for me!!!

Congrats on winning!! As you can see there are many apps. I noticed some good ones in a different thread in "off-topic" thread when I was asking if a smart phone is worth it. You can search there if you like. I remember one I thought would be great, calculates the fabric you'll need for a certain pattern.

Keep seeing at top of board "get the App". Takes me to iTunes App Store, but no specific app shown?

Thank you for that info above. I was just given an Ipad for my birthday from hubby and was wondering what apps were available for quilting. I have made a list of those suggestions and I know what I am going to do today - that is after I have done some sewing.
