I only use the finger tabs now - I love them..works like a charm and reuseable!

I cut tiny strips of leftover batting and wrap it around my finger. My favorite thimble was given to me by my husband and though it is a bit too big, it works for me with the little cushion inside.

I just accidentally hit the button twice. Sorry.

my son in law thought it was funny that I have several sizes of thimbles. when my arthritis is acting up I use a larger one. I also like the ones that have the ledge. really helps.

I have a Clover. It has an open end and is adjustable. Well, actually, I probably have 4 or 5 of them. I really like them because they have a lip and if my finger swells, I can make them a little bigger or not. If my nails get a little long it won't bother the thimble since the end is open. I've seen them recently in the catalogs for about $10 or $11 but I wouldn't be without it.

I use the clover leather coin thimble I buy them on e-bay for about $5 much cheaper then any store. There are 2 seller that have about 10 each. One is selling them for $6.25 with free shipping the other is $4 and with shipping it is about $6 I know they are about $12 at Hancock fabric.

hmm...I will have to check for the 'dots'.
I wrap a bandaid around my finger and go to town. I have NEVER been able to wear a thimble.

grrr. Just found them. joann's sells them, wish I would have read this thread before going up there this afternoon. That will teach me to leave without checking the forum.
