That's what I use and it works great.

I use a lint roller

Lint roller and/or small hand-held vacuum.

How timely! I just noticed how much thread was on mine yesterday!

Lint roller, Dust Buster.

I use the little " balls of netting" that you use in the bath. Works great for removing thread from a lot of things.

Ha! I kind of like the look of all those threads on my design wall. Sort of like art. :) I remember years ago reading that someone had vacuumed hers and since then, it hadn't "held things up" as well. I have always not vacuumed because of that.

I use the lint roller thing, whenever I decide "enough is enough." Though, now that I think about it, the thing about not vacuuming sounds just silly. How in the world could that make the design wall not hold things up?? Maybe I should not believe everything I have read...

If you have a rolling pin or a paint roller with a clean roller brush cover with duct tape all the way across sticky side out. twist one end so it sticks to the brush, wrap all around then twist other end to stick to the roller brush. Bigger and more coverage. Duct tape is cheap.

I covered my design wall in felt not flannel and the vacuuming hasn't caused a problem. I use a Dustbuster type of vacuum.

I use my vacuum that has a hose attachment. Gets most of them off for me. Sometimes I have to use the carpet head instead of the floor head though as I use quilting spray on the flannel to make my blocks stick better.
