You are going to have a great time with all that upholstery fabric....remember that most of it does not like to be washed in a washer and dried in a dryer. Have fun.

Cool...certainly is a mountain! My husband just bought a "new to me" car...the removable seat covers are a bit worn, so I'm thinking patchwork done in upholstery fabric and using the old covers for patterns might be the go.

Wow what a deal. Lucky you. Someday my fabric ship will come in..

My grandmother had some quilts made out of upholstery fabric. They were used in the winter. Winter in the Tenn. mountains could get cold and damp. I don't know where they all got to when she passed on but I would have loved to have one of those quilts. Wyoming winters are also cold but not damp. This would be the ideal material for people who are wanting heavy quilts.

I grew up in Pennsylvania and we didn't have heat in the second floor. Everyone slept under what we called comforters which were very heavy quilts. They sure kept your warm.

Wow is all I can say :-D
