I cut out one of the strips, I cut them down to 2 1/2" X 22"
***doesn't that surprise you cutebuns  LMBO*** and I ended up with 13 blocks I just had to see what they looked like, so here are a few that I have pics of. All 13 blocks are in it's own paper plate. I will finish cutting up the rest of the strips tomorrow :D:D:D |

That does not surprise me at all Amma, I had to fight all the way to cut mine as big as I did, and of course the whole time I was cutting I was thinking that I should have gone smaller, it is good to see that you are auditioning them, we will be covering that next monday!
|
Bailey, are you planning on using the whole thing?
|
auditioning  I just did this to store them LMBO
I forgot that they can be switched around  I just bought 100 of these plates...who needs them for food, right? :D:D:D |
as you are cutting along, if you notice that some of your strips look alike, you can move the triangle over a bit to make it in a different spot and or cut from the other end, I started on the salvage edge in the pictures, you can also cut from the other end so that your start and stop will be in a different place.

I have my one half all cut up and will be saving the other half for later in case I need more pictures along the way.
Sure Amma, most people don't use plates to eat on, everyone uses them for quilting, |
Thank you for that tip :D:D:D
I was going to cut them at 6" LMBO |
Boy did I misunderstand! When you mentioned hexagons, I thought you all were making an 'I Spy' quilt.
It is a stack and whack or kaleidascope. Oh well, now I better understand how to make one. Thanks for the tut. |
I will have to go and get some more... I really don't want to have to do dishes   :lol::lol:
