cutting 4 you will get more variation and it looks like they are longer than wide so use opposite ends when starting your strips,

I love your fabric! Please post pictures as you get some of the blocks done. That border will be great. Using the squares for the back of the quilt will be very unique.

I have been reading all the pages of this fascinating tutorial. I have some fabric that I think would be great for OBW. I can't wait until I can finish a couple of other WIP so I can start this!
