I laughed at Melissa Dove's post... that's the same thing I do when I'm feeling low... I just take out all of my fat quarters and "fondle" the little devils! Looking at all the pretty colors and patterns just makes me feel better. Guess we're all a little strange....!

Seriously, there are many great books about how to use FQ's; try searching fat quarter quilts on Amazon and you will find them.

The new issue of Quilters World has a pattern that uses fat quartrs. It is meant for Asian fat quarters but I am sure you can use any fat quarter.

do a scrappy 10 minute block....reduce the block size to 9" and you can get 4 from a fq......fast, easy and looks great!

Turning Twenty patterns!

I agree about Turning Twenty, which are patterns based upon using 20 coordinating fat quarters.

I could help!! LOL

Well said!

I,also, like disappearing 9 patch for fat quarters

I like them for placemats and table toppers. If you don't have matching fabric to piece anything, just use the whole FQ to make a wholecloth placemat.

I LOVE fat quarters! Here are the directions for a baby quilt that uses 16 FQs. I have made this top and it was fun and very easy. When I get it quilted I will post pics.
