I love the navy blue. I don't think the white would work as well. :):):)

Here is that term again - Color Catcher - I don't know what this is. Maybe I've been living under a rock but I really don't know what this is. Is this like Retayne?

The blue is great, it pops the yellow and the WV.

You might also consider using tan, beige, or gray for a background if it's going to be a "used a lot" quilt.

I agree. I would never use white in a quilt for my grandsons just because their quilts get so "well loved".....I mostly use brights since they seem to not show the wear as much.

I like the Navy also, just be sure to use the color catchers or a color grabber. Its going to be a really nice quilt

If you have some "scraps" in each color, sew them together and wash with detergent in wash bowl. See if any of the colors "run" or come out in the water. The dark blue is the probable culprit. Of course, still use the color catchers and wash in cold water.
