Check your tension....sometimes you have to tweak it a bit...make sure you only take it back to "O" but don't go any futher than that...I have mine set just a little before....also if your needle is dull it will create those problems as well...hope that helps..

Hi Pam, I keep my Mega Quilter on the frame as I have another one that I use for piecing. As suggested check to make sure that you have threaded it correctly and that the tension dial is set between 2-3 when you lift up the pressure foot. For the longest time I was using Mettler thread which started to break on me also. I went to my quilt store and the ladies there suggested that I try Presencia Thread and it works great, but you need to clean out the bobbin area. Let us know if this helps. Have fun quilting :)

Ditto what Karennowc said and one more idea. On your Mega there is a bar you can move to the left to slow down the machine. Try that. Also sometimes my Mega is tempermental about the thread I am using. Case in point - I was using the same thread I had done several quilts with and midway through the spool the machine decided it didn't like the thread anymore. Once I changed the spool no problems.
