Pretty quilt, Boston!

sewbizgirl, love all your quilts. You have such an eye for color.

Boston, that turned out very nice. If I copy it for the horse quilt, I'll make my blocks smaller. I wish I were using batiks.

This is blocks on my design wall. I'm joining them together into a top today.

Made some progress yesterday.

Block party block done. I really like this block, but I need to look at it again and tweak the sizes before I do it for myself. The pieces aren't quite right and the points all float, as currently designed.

Block one of the 2018 Summer Sampler done. Hoping my plan for a rainbow quilt works out. First discovery -I don't have much yellow, even in my scraps.

Got my PEI Modern Guild Mystery quilted and bound, just in time for the deadline.

And 2 customer quilts completed, one to go. Next up - Block 2 of the summer sampler, and backings for 2 quilts.

Well, here it is; almost at the end of day 1 of the VQW. I had 10 baby quilts I said I would finish this weekend. I just had to do the hand sewing on the bindings. I did only 2 of them and just started on the 3rd. There is still a chance I'll finish all 10 by Monday evening, if I don't stop to eat! Sorry, I can't post pictures but I really enjoy seeing yours.

I always love SewBizGirl's colors in her quilts!

I hoped to get the Dogs in Sweaters quilted, but it didn't happen. I did get some FMQ practice on my Juki and decided how to quilt it. By then it was 3:00 and my husband came home with a load of stuff from his dad and stepmom's house so I helped him sort thru it and by the time I got stuff inside and put away, it was too late to start the FMQ today. I did get out the fabrics I want to use on my string quilt and starched and pressed some of those.

That’s really pretty, Boston1954!

Those colors sing Raggiemom! I’m looking forward to seeing the whole quilt!
