Alright. So my pellets arrived this week. I have to say, I knew that 14lbs would be... well, 14lbs, but I do feel that its quite a lot of weight for a blanket. Ive never handled an adult weighted blanket, but I'm wondering if I should still attempt to weight this small quilt. Im at a bit of a standstill while I decide if I am going to continue this as a duvet cover or not. I could always make a weighted blanket in addition to the quilt. Im thinking Ill go ahead and make the insert for the duvet, and once I feel what its like with the weight dispersed I can decide if Ill make the quilt into its cover.

It's been a while since I updated on this project. I have to say I decided against weighting the quilt and chose to make a separate weighted blanket with a duvet made from snuggle fleece. It turned out fantastic and he loves it! As for the cabin themed quilt, I am done piecing it and I have started the daunting process of quilting it. So far so good! I really didnt expect this to be the most difficult part.
