The last photo really is an attention grabber! I like this one.
I like no. 3, the gold with the red plaid cornerstones. It makes me happy to look at it and the plaid is so Christmassy. :)
It is a beautiful quilt. I like the darker sashing.
Like the red sashing but not the yellow cornerstones. I would suggest the green
My vote would be for the first one. It seems lighter and brighter.
Definitely # 3 with the gold sashing! Second choice would be the last one.
Either the 3rd or last sashing pic. The other sashing fabrics are either too light or too dark. Nicely done
I like picture #3 best. That was my first thought and I'm sticking with it. Pretty fabrics.

I like the red too....very lovely quilt btw!
I like picture # 3!!!!! Pretty quilt!!!!!
I especially like the last one.
I prefer the gold sashing. I think it really brings some life to your quilt. I like the colors and if you prefer a more subtle look, I think that would be ok too.
I like the red too. Your fabric is beautiful, and the pattern is nice too. I can't wait to see the finished quilt.
I like the red sashing with gold cornerstones. Pretty quilt! - Makes me long for cooler temps - tired of these high 90s we have been having!
I like #3 and all plaid cornerstones. 2nd choice is red sashing. Love the quilt.
I like #3, it seems to brighten up the beautiful quilt blocks. Second best is #6 if being truly "Christmasy" is your aim. Whatever you choose, your quilt is going to be beautiful, your work is excellent.

I vote for the red sashing.
I think any one of the darker ones will work fine. The white is just too stark. You might think about adding more interest by doing stars in the sashing.
I liked the red. green was it until I saw the red.
I like the narrow red sashing with green cornerstones. I don't care for the lighter colors at all with it.
The blocks have a warm and cozy feel. I think that sometimes 'bright' and/or 'popping' is unnecessary and/or jarring to a warm, cozy effect. |
#3, the light color
I like the one with gold. it brightens it up
I like #3 as it sets the blocks off
I really like #3, as it lightens up the whole quilt.
I prefer the green with yellow gold centers, or the blocks put together without sashing.
Gold. Much more pizzazz.:)
I like #3 best.
I love the first one with the plaid!
Like 1 but the red really pops and is striking.
Of course I'm going to be different and say I like #4. Then I'd fmq, with gold thread, in the light cornerstones (is that the right term?)
I like the dark green or the red
Personally, I prefer the sashing in the last picture.
I agree that the first is too light, and the third appeals to me the most for brightening up the quilt. However, I do like the red also, if you don't mind it staying in the darker tones.
You might Google Christmas quilts with brown. I saw this one that you also might consider which mixes some sashing colors.
Will look forward to seeing the beautiful outcome! |
I like the tan sashing as well as the red.
# 3 is my choice
I like the second or the last.
If you surround your blocks with a darker color, the whole quilt will look brighter and your blocks will shine in the relative spotlight.
