So, my DH and I were having lunch and I said, "I think I have a really good idea for a quilt!" He looked at me with those big brown eyes and said "Really? I'm just wondering how long it will take to actually quilt it once it's made."
Hmmmm....I think he's suggesting I have a problem with finishing projects. I really have NO idea what on earth he is talking about. |
Me neither!!! Although I am a better starter than a finisher
Sometimes the joy is in the planning and piecing!!! I too tend to let finished projects sit for a while before I get around to quilting them.
Give him his own needle and thread and let him find out!
rofl, i get that too. try telling him you are still in the planning stage how to quilt it! it takes a while to plan ya know!!!
dh wouldn't dare say that to me. If he did I'd point out the unfinished painting in the dining room, the unfinished ceiling redo in the kitchen, the carpet in the entry that was supposed to be changed to wood a few years ago, the bathroom floor that still doesn't have the trim put on, etc etc and I could go on and on all day. DH has a problem with finishing projects that is much worse than the one I have (and yes, I have the same problem).

LOL, mine says OHHHHHHHH it's done?? LIke that doesn't happen often LOL
