I made this quilt with 1 mini charm pack and then cut a charm pack into 4ths. 99 squares for the heart then extra for the border. It was simple and kind of cute when I finished.
I've included the site where I got directions. http://homesweethideaway.blogspot.co...ine-quilt.html |

sew them together into 9-patches- then either sash them or use triangles & put them 'on-point' (which would be wayyyy cute!)
you could use white, cream, black, or any color from the squares to either sash or use to put on point that would pull them all together. |
I made a doll quilt for my granddaughter with 2 mini charm packs.

I'd be adding a cream colored fabric and sitting on Bonnie Hunter's site drooling. I did Sunny Lane with that size - just had to refigure the coordinate. Road to Oklahoma - the possibilities are endless.

I'm sooooooo jealous. There are a million ways to use 2-1/2" squares. The problem is deciding which to do! I love Mondo bags, and I've made 2 - perfect for carrying things to classes - or to carry your loot at Quilt Shows. Scrappy 9 Patches sewn as beginners and enders would be my 2nd choice. The sky's the limit!
Please show us pictures of what you do. |
Many moda fabrics cross co ordinate, especially in their colorways. You could also sell them, there are always people looking for just a little bit more of a fabric they purchased even 2 years after the fact. Ask me how I KNOW THIS.LOL
