What is your favorite quilt you made?
I just made a Civil War quilt and it's at the LAers right now and it's my all time favorite. Took forever to do it. Lots of piecing and points (and I didn't lose one point, unbelievable for me) and I think it's beautiful. It was hard for me but so worth it. It is a star within a star and there are 16 of them. What is your favorite quilt that you made and why?

Not very complicated, but love to make log cabin quilts.

Seems to always be the one that is currently in process. ;) I am very fond of the Mariners compass one I made for my brother. All warm colors of reds oranges and yellows on a dark dark brown, that reads black, background and hand quilted with yellow varigated thread with tigers, dragons and mariners compasses and a cable in the outside border. That one was a true labor of love and even though I worked on it for 3 years I never tired of looking at it.

For looks, i love the Tennessee waltz pattern. For easy, i love the Double Slice Layer Cake pattern.

The next one. ;-)

My favorite is still the snowball quilt made with blues and whites.

My first. A sampler which included a picture of our house. Still have it.

Carpenter's Wheel in batiks. That one wanted to stay here. The current one with snowballs, nine patches and band of applique can't wait to leave.

My favorite quilt that I made was a 6 pointed star that was made from pieces that my Grandmother had cut out prior to her dying in 1945. There was an honor that I felt making it. When i finished it, I gave it to my Mom, who didn't even know these pieces existed because she was only 7 when her mother died.

A simple queen quilt, 4.5 inch squares of all Kaffe Fasset fabrics, with a glorious Fasset border of purple and blue and magenta flowers. So bright and wild!
