I like 'Quilting for People Who Don't Have Time to Quilt' by Marti Michell. Lots of great info, not a high price. It might not be in print anymore.

Mine is better Homes and Garden's Quilting Guide. It is the best one i have and is full of everything you would want to know about quilting. (32.00)

Thank you all for your awesome book recommendations!

You are so right, a book to get it right from the beginning is the best option.

I also love youtube - I'm one that needs to see to learn - Missouri Quilt Company has some great video tutorials  but this board is hands down.. the best place to learn!

I like "The Quilters Edge" by Darlene Zimmerman. The book is all about borders and bindings. It is very complete and informative.
