I have one of those bendable lights that I absolutely love..They attach to your machine where you can shine the light directly on the foot/plate/sewing area...It works so great, you can actually sew in the dark with this light...They run around $50.00 in the stores, but you can find them for $27.95, plus shipping, at this link -
http://www.quilting-warehouse.com/?g...FbJa7AodKHN4HQ I also have a small Ott table light that I love - Folds up to turn on, folds down to turn off...I use it at my cutting table, for handwork, ect...Wonderful light.... |
Thanks to all of you for your help with this. :-)

Ott Lights! :)
|
I have 2 Ott lights. One is a floor model that lights up the ironing board and the other is a table model, that sits behind my sewing machine. It has a very heavy base it sits in, but also came with a clamp to attach it to a table. I can bend the neck many directions: to illuminate the cutting table, my sewing machine or bend it straight up and turn it around to see my design wall. When I first bought the table one, I also ordered another bulb, thinking I'd need it later. Well, I've been using that lamp for over 10 years and haven't replaced it yet!
