How do you soak your mat and for how long?

I have an Olfa 24 x 36 ... When deciding take into account your cutting table size. Over the years of hard use .. it just seems like the Olfa lasted the longest.

My first board was an Olfa board...back when they had no lines. I still prefer the Olfa boards...and I usually do not go by the lines on the board...I turn it over and use the back side. Guess I learned without lines and still find that the best.

I have a Birch Craft it has lasted me for years. Especially now I learned how to heal it by putting it in the bath of cold water for 2 hours. It works great and free as well.

I have the 3'x2' green olfa. In the 25 years+ that I have been quilting, this is my second mat and both were Olfas. They are well worth the money.

I have a June Taylor Cut and Press. I love it have almost wore it out. Loved it so much I recovered the pressing mat. It is great for classes too

I have a self-healing cutting mat from Fiskars that I love. 18x24 inches, and reversible.

I have several cutting mats but the one I use the most is the Fiscars 17 X 23 Gray Mat that fits perfectly on my side table next to my machine. I also use the 5-1/2" X 8-1/2" Omnigrid Mat right next to my machine for trimming. When I cut out a quilt, I use my Altos Quilt Cut 2 cutting system.
