Found some at Office Depot. Comes in a tablet and not as expensive as I thought. I use it for printing off embroidery patterns and use as templates on the embroidery machine.

I find the best paper for pp is newspaper stock. If you have a local newspaper they will usually sell a roll of unused paper stock for a ridiculous low price. I have a huge roll that measures 36" wide and I paid 2.50 for it. When I start a project I cut the pieces to printer size and print out all my patterns. It will last me forever and I have done lots of pp and also teach at the local quilt shop and am happy to supply my students with paper.

Oh, thanks. Ok but it wouldn't be grease proof then??? Let's ask one of our Australian QB posters. By the way I was able to go to the dollar store and got a 'scribblers' pad and will try that on my next project of pp.

I was talking about parchment paper for baking and it works great - haven't tried to get it at Costco yet, but am going to look.

I get mine from JoAnn Fabric or Hobby Lobby.

I'm not going to read all the responses to get to the end of this. I'll just say, if you haven't tried it yet, try freezer paper piecing. It's a lot easier, less expensive and no nagging paper to pick out when you're done.
