OK, I get UFO, unfinished objects, WIP work in progress,. PIG's, project in gracery bag but what is the differene between WIP and UFO? PIG: fabric purchased but still in the bag?

I asked my students to count their projects. Largest number was 35. I counted mine and was at 36. Finished on since, but have added another 2 BOMs that are arriving in the mail too frequently. Will stock pile on until I've finished several quilts.

Yes, I love new colors, fabrics and design my own also.

Always remember the one woman years ago who come into my quilt store. She said her "husband wouldn't allow her to make more than one at a time." Not in my lifetime!

Many projects keep me busy and interested.

Sandy

A UFO, to me, is one that has been put aside for one reason or another. A WIP is one I am actively working on over a period of time. We need to come up with POTB (Projects On The Brain) of which I have millions.

I used to finish one before starting on the next, but I like having many projects going. I get bored working on the same one all the time. I currently have three awaiting quilting, but we are traveling and so I plan to do those next when we get home in March. I don't want to allow finished tops to pile up waiting for quilting. I can honestly say mine are all WIP's. None are what I would call UFO's.

Like you, I thought I finished one first, then on to the next. NOT I don't even know how many are piled up in there

Welcome! You're a true quilter now. I also have some tops I started years ago. More than likely I've used the remaining fabric for something else, so some may never be finished.

I too have trouble threading the hand needles I like to sew with but I spent about 15.00 bucks and bought a Clover needle threader and it works great I am not trying to sell their products just another old quilter who needed their kind of help

Have you tried the needles with the slot on the top for threading? I have trouble getting the thread through the eye, too. They really do work.
