I’d make quilts but only baby size quilts or table runners. No bed size quilts.

I think I would be more forgiving to myself. And probably more fabric frugal.

Interesting. Amazing. I’m so insulated. I’d love to see your products made without a rotary cutter.

I think it would have taken me longer to gain an interest honestly

It took me 14 years to finish my first quilt, using the old cardboard templates and scissors method. The hand quilting took several years in three different houses. I probably would keep quilting but I'd make smaller quilts and tie them.

Oh, yes! That's how I learned 150 years ago. I do appreciate that I can do things more quickly now, but I still do some hand quilting, hand piecing, and some work on one of my treadles. Quilting is too rewarding to worry about just the time saved or spent.

Yes! I can remeber being a very young child and wanting to quilt. Started with yoyos.

I would still be a quilter. That is how I started quilting.

I can't imagine not quilting. I sometime use laminated posters that I cut for templates so I would not need cereal boxes. But...I am not a big fan of the laminated posters. I do hand quilt sometimes. I actually use #2 pencils and colored pencils because I haven't found a marker that I like. But...the stopping point could be using scissors to cut fabric instead of a rotary cutter. I can not cut a straight line. Yikes!!

To my quilting friends, I say - "if they would just quit making all this damn cute fabric, I could probably just walk away". Hahaha
