Eyebrows? What eyebrows. I wish I had some to pluck. Mine all headed for my chin.

I sometimes think that my favorite passtime is using the seam ripper

I too am familiar with Jack the Ripper, he is always there when I need him and also when I don't need him. Like everyone else I know what it is like to have to unpick repeated sometimes the same piece and it can get annoying. I go and do something else for a while then go sit and watch my program and unpick the piece, then start sewing again.

I cannot keep a seam ripper in sight, but I always have a pair of small scissors, manicure scissors work great, running around lose. Have also used a razor blade that is in a box knife, I don't know if the box knifes are still made. Good luck and remember we all feel for you.

I have done this. I have a ripper for capal tunnel. They work great. Used to use the razor blade. Until late one night and that was the end of sewing for a couple of days.

Oh no! I think it's happened to all of us at some time!

Here's my little "can't live without" tool!

I use a scaple.. works great.. but you do have to be careful.. I can see why surgeons use them, they're sharp.. but if you can get it just right you can rip a seam with one zip!
