Instead of sleeping I plan my next quilt. It's good to have friends in the same boat!!

Dito I have done that. What's worse is that you spend your stashed cash that your DH didn't know you had, so you have to hide what you bought for a time & can't even play with it. So frustrating.

My friend and I intend to do this exact thing on Sunday!

You know you're a quilting addict when you're going along with your husband on a business trip and you check ahead for a quilt shop in that city, and then schedule a class and take your sewing machine along on the trip "for something to do while he's in meetings"! We drove from Central Texas to Indianapolis, I took my machine, and had a wonderful time in the class I had scheduled learning how to make scalloped borders. And I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

When your husband has to cook because you're too busy quilting.

Or when you wake up in the middle of the night planning your next quilt or deciding how to finish the one you are working on.

I was sure glad to read that reply.2 years ago I made our oldest grandson and his new wife a wedding quilt and used the design from our upstairs bathroom floor for the pattern.When I told my husband,he just laugh.

Oh, lucky you!!! I'm jealous! :D
