I bought myself a Cheryl Ann's portable design wall from Massdrop. Don't have the space for a regular design wall, so this was a good solution. Even my husband and son were impressed with it when we put it together.

Things are tight here. dh had to take a 20% cut in pay 5 yrs ago. he is there for 29 yrs. no word on a raise this year either so i'm going cheap this year. I'm getting a manicure tomorrow for a treat for me.

I ordered a new sectional sofa for living room--really needed more comfortable seating for ME! So when it comes in mid-Feb, my son's family gets the sofa and MOST uncomfortable recliner you've ever sat in! I did make a Christmas quilt just for me--that's a first!

My gift to myself was a Singer 301 in a cabinet with bench that I found at an estate sale last weekend. $50? Yes, please!

I bought myself a new Kitchenaid mixer. The Professional 600 with a 6 1/2 quart mixing bowl. My other passion right after quilting is baking!

As far as a gift to myself... I have registered for several Long Arm classes for the New England MQX show April 6-9. I loved it so much last year that I talked a friend into joining me and we are going to stay a couple days. |
