Be sure to follow the directions for washing for the kind of printing you are using. One of the ones I used years ago instructed you to used fabric softener instead of detergent for washing.
My Printed Treasures are still going strong and the recipient is a frequent launderer in laundromats, so special care isn't an option (wasn't - he just bought a house.) I did heat set the pictures with a very hot iron.
