Problem getting my FW to stitch!

Under no circumstance mess with the belt on the inside of the white FW. It is not replaceable. Do not lubricate or add any product to it at all. The belt is inside the top of the machine, you can't see it anywhere outside.

Are you familiar with The Featherweight Shop? www.singer-featherweight.com Look for "schoolhouse" tab. There is a lot of information there on maintenance and repair that you can do yourself. Manuals are there by model, I think. If you need parts, they carry them and are quick to ship.

My son found the problem. I didn't screw the motor back tight enough.
She's purring away now!!
Onebyone- that's not the belt I was referring to but thanks for the tip! I meant the belt that goes on the hand wheel.
