By Lori Holt. The first pattern in book-the Granny Quilt. Strip measurements of row 2 And row 4 are supposed to be the same.....not. What is the site were corrections in designs are listed....I need to check that for correction......thanks

If I were looking for corrections, the first place I would go to would be the designer.

Perhaps the book has the website noted?
Or an email contact address noted?

Otherwise, Mr. Google, will surely be glad to help you out.

yes, that is my plan, but I thought I'd check the errata site first.........have contacted designer in the interim...hoping for a quick reply..........
just thought I'd ask here, in case someone else had done, or is planning to do this pattern.......

I've never heard of a site such as you are suggesting.

That being said, I would be cautious about a generic site and would still opt for the designer's official word ..... or just go with what I know is right. You obviously have already figured out something is askew, so just go with what you know.

I have an old site bookmarked, nothing current on it though. http://www.quilt.com/Errata.html

Isn't she from inbox jaunt or something? Maybe try her site for corrections?

I see there are a few different videos showing how to add the side pieces etc. did you manage to watch them, might they help?

Lori Holt is a wonderful designer. I love her patterns. She had the Great Granny as a sew along on her blog several years ago. Each block had a tutorial how to make it. I don't remember any mistakes on the block instructions that were available to download. She has a new Sew along starting soon too. http://beeinmybonnetco.blogspot.com/

I was just going to edit my comment above, but see that fruitloop has already mentioned that Lori Holt is the bee in my bonnet blog; the one I mentioned is actually Lori Kennedy I think ....

Well the problem has been resolved.....the illustration in the book, was not to scale, that's what threw me off......I just continued with what I had done and finished ans squared up and all is well. But wheni really do the project I am going to make those end recs just about1/2"longer, just to be sure.

yes, I do like her patterns, never had any issues-this was me not she!

I had problems with a pattern by Darlene Zimmerman so I took a chance and emailed her. She responded within hours and we actually ended up exchanging 2 emails to get me on track. She went into detail and walked me through it. She was absolutely wonderful. btw - the pattern was fine - it was my brain freeze.
