    Talking problem with Janome 6300

As I am sewing it lunges in speed. Do you know of a website that may tell me how or why it is doing this? Has anyone experienced it. I did call a dealer and she said it might be in the pedal. It doesn't do it all the time only when I am least expecting it.

This happens to all type of machines, and is usually a problem with the pedal.

Try going to janome.com and then click on forums. Choose an appropriate category and post a message about your problem. I've done this in the past and they've helped me with a few problems. Good luck.

I have had my pedal replaced for this. Very common problem, as is the thread dropping from the take up arm.

Do a search for it on eBay to get an idea of cost of a foot pedal for your machine. Cost varies greatly depending on brand and model.

Your machine may still be under warranty for this problem - call Janome about it.
