    It's gorgeous now! Sorry it gave you such a hard time. I love to do pebbling but that can cause problems in a quilt too. I try to restrict it to small pieces where I do the whole background in it and then re-square. Someone needs to invent "Border Ease"! It's just a thought BUT I wonder if you put little squares of the shrink bubble stuff (can't remember the name) and made it a design element if you could shrink a wavy border. HMMMM, I may have to try it.

    That is a very beautiful quilt. If you hadn't told us about the problems with it we would never have known. It's wonderful that you and your sister are making your mother's life more enjoyable.
