I just read this on the Project Linus Facebook page:
Many of our Project Linus are currently collecting blankets to ship to children who are the victims of the earthquake in Japan. We will be shipping through the US Military who will distribute the blankets to affected Japanese children and children of US Military personnel. If you would like to help please contact your local chapter (listed on our website under "Chapter Listing").
o
Project Linus Some of you have asked how you can help. You can make a blanket (fleece, quilt, crocheted, knitted) or you can help with shipping costs. Shipping is a major obstacle for our local chapters. We will be shipping to Texas and the military will take over from there. Thank you so much!
