Can I use Warm and Natural 100% quilt batting to hand tie a quilt?

It's a needlepunched batting with scrim, which makes it very stable. It should work fine for tying.

I've tied with Warm and Natural. Have a few quilts out there that are about 10 yrs old and they are hold up VERY well!
