ProStitcher vs Qbot
Considering automation for my BabyLock Coronet. I'm getting from Prostitcher helpline that if I bought the system for my Coronet and later decided to upgrade my machine, that 'it would be a problem'. I asked whether or not one could just buy a new carriage and wiring and got lots of non-information. I got the distinct impression they would 'prefer' you buy a whole new system. At 10K cost for pro-stitcher, I consider that a bit outrageous. From what I understand with Qbot, if one upgrades, one can simply buy new 'bits' to get Qbot going on the new machine.
Has anyone else dealt with Prostitcher/Handiquilter/Babylock in this regard and gotten a straight answer? If I could not simply buy a new carriage, wiring and track for any new machine I upgraded to, it would be a HUGE dealbreaker!

DOn't know if it's possible but did you check out IQ? I started out with PCQ back in the days and then moved up to a upgraded MQR which used most of the PCQ equipment but they've lost their support so I switched over to IQ and did have to change out my carriage only so I got lucky there.
