    yes I am using a walking foot..........I don't bother with the little pucker here and there.........but I started today laying out and pinning where I am going to sew and it is helping...........ty all for the suggestions..........kelly

    If you can adjust the pressure on your sewing foot, loosen it as far as it will go and then tighten it little by little until you find the right balance. I found that having very little pressure on the quilt sandwich does a much better job of feeding it evenly.

    I have used fusible batting on my last quilts and really liked it, did not have the problem of puckers.
