Let me start off wishing everyone a Happy New Year! I was at the grocery store today and the lady in front of me was carrying a quilted purse. It had acorns and some other quilted squares in the front and also had a zipper. I asked her if she had made it and she said yes. She said she found the pattern in a quilting magazine, ( unfortunately, she could not remember which magazine!) she said there was a pattern for a table runner and the purse. I know this is vague, but does this sound familiar to anyone? I would love to make the purse!

There are a lot of purse patterns out and some have been on the Quilting Board. I would search there. Also, search under Youtube under Missouri Quilting Com. I think Fons and Porter had some too. Good luck. I have some patterns myself but I do not know what kind you are look for.

If you could describe the purse in greater detail someone might be able to help. Size, shape, type of handles, info like that would be helpful.

I saw something like that in a Quilt and Things magazine I was flipping through at a Sam's Club but I did not buy it. It was back at the end of summer.I don't know if it is the same one but it sounds a lot like it. Also Quilters World has pretty table toppers and bags sometime she could have seen it there.
